From solo hikers to wild swimmers, the award-winning Lite+ stove from Primus has been a popular choice with all types of outdoor enthusiasts for many years and for 2021 this bestselling model has been updated with a new and improved, more eco-friendly design. Perfect for a summer of staycations, the stove’s smart features and innovative burner technology makes it easy to enjoy a hot drink or tasty meal wherever your adventures take you.

The new Lite+ retains the highly efficient and super-stable Laminar Flow Burner featured on the original stove. This advanced technology means the stove’s burner can sit closer to the gas cartridge, making the whole unit much more stable. The burner also slots directly into the 0.5litre cooking pot which features integrated wind-shields. This optimises the stove’s efficiency and ensures a fast boil time while reducing the gas consumption. If you want to use a different pan, three little pan supports can be unscrewed from the cooking pot’s handle and inserted into the burner quickly and easily.

The stove’s hard, anodized aluminium cooking pot has had multiple upgrades and now includes an integrated pouring spout which is perfect for safely transferring boiling water into other cups or freeze-dried food pouches. The pot’s lid has had a sustainable makeover and is now made from 95% bioplastic and its moulded design means it can also be used as a backpacking mug. The G-1000 Eco outer sleeve features a new, cork lining that offers excellent insulation and also protects your hands while holding the pot to eat. Available in a 6 vibrant new colours, the pot sleeve also features a handy, integrated pocket for storing a long-spoon.

The pot’s webbing handle means it doubles as a mug or it can also be unfastened and used as a hanging kit when cooking or boiling water on uneven or boggy terrain.  Alternatively, the new Lite + also comes with a convenient footrest that’s also made out of bioplastic – perfect for ensuring the stove is secure on the ground before you start using it.

Developed with Primus’ usual attention to detail, the new Lite+ also features an effective, new gas valve that incorporates a large control knob. This makes it much easier to control the stove’s heat, even with cold hands or while wearing gloves.  When not in use, the burner, a 100g gas cartridge and the hanging kit can all be stored inside the Lite+ pot, taking up minimal space in a bag and protecting the burner while in transit.

The Primus Lite+ is backed by more than 125 years of engineering heritage. Used everywhere from Everest to Antarctica, each Primus stove is designed in Sweden and manufactured in Europe at the company’s own factory. For guaranteed quality and performance, every single stove is individually tested before it hits the shop shelves. So, when you chose a Primus stove, you know you’re opting for a reliable and long-lasting cooking companion that will accompany you on many years of trips into nature.
